| Dolores
Subia BigFoot, PhD - an enrolled member of the Caddo
Nation of Oklahoma and is an Assistant Professor of Research in
the Department of Pediatrics, OUHSC. Dr. BigFoot is the Co-Director
of the Indian Country Child Trauma Center that is part of the National
Child Traumatic Stress Network. Dr. BigFoot is a doctoral-level
counseling psychologist and provides consultation, training, and
technical assistance to tribal, state, and federal agencies; mental
health and family service agencies; and Indian Head Start programs
in 22 states. She is recognized for her efforts to bring traditional
Indian practices and beliefs into the formal teaching and instruction
of Indian people and professionals working with Indian populations.
Dr. BigFoot developed an American Indian parent training program
which builds on the strengths of Indian parents, families, and communities
to parent children and has co-authored, “Helping Indian Parents
Discipline their Children,” a brochure distributed by the
Prevent Child Abuse American that is being used by a number of tribes
in their child abuse prevention and treatment programs.

Lorena
Burris, PhD -
a licensed psychologist, is a Research Associate at the
Center on Child Abuse and Neglect at the University of Oklahoma
Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Burris provides
clinical services in the treatment of adolescent sex offenders and
children with sexual behavior problems. Dr. Burris is a member of
the Osage Tribe of Oklahoma.

| Barbara
Bonner, PhD - a Clinical Child Psychologist, is a Professor
and the CMRI/Jean Gumerson Endowed Chair, Director of the Center
on Child Abuse and Neglect (CCAN), and Associate Director of the
Child Study Center (CSC) in the Department of Pediatrics at the
University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Bonner is the
Co-Director of ICCTC and her clinical and research interests include
the assessment and treatment of abused children, treatment outcome
and program effectiveness, prevention of child fatalities, and treatment
of children and adolescents with inappropriate or illegal sexual
behavior.

Robin
Gurwitch, PhD - a professor in the Department of Pediatrics
at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, is a licensed Clinical
Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Gurwitch is the Parent-Child
Interaction Therapy and Traumatic Stress Specialist for ICCTC. Dr. Gurwitch
specializes in work with children, particularly those considered at-risk.
Since the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, Dr. Gurwitch has devoted much time
to understanding the impact of trauma and disaster on children. She has
been involved work with the Oklahoma National Memorial. She has served on
State and national committees and task forces focusing on trauma/disaster,
terrorism, and violence. Dr. Gurwitch has co-authored a treatment manual
for use with young children after a trauma and helped the American Red Cross
develop materials related to terrorism for use in schools.

Jane
Silovsky, PhD - a Clinical Child Psychologist, is an
Associate Professor and the Associate Director of the Center on
Child Abuse and Neglect. Dr. Silovsky is the specialist of Children
with Sexual Behavior Problems and Traumatic Stress within ICCTC.
Since 1997, she has been the Director of the Children with Sexual
Behavior Problems program, an assessment, treatment, and research
program for preschool and school age children with sexual behavior
problems. Dr. Silovsky’s research is in the area of intervention
outcome and program evaluation of services for children affected
by child maltreatment. One of her major research interest is sexual
behavior problems of young children.

Beverly Funderburk, PhD - an assistant professor at the
Center on Child Abuse and Neglect in the Department of Pediatrics
at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Funderburk
is a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy specialist for ICCTC. She conducts
treatment outcome research and clinical training in Parent-Child Interaction
Therapy, a empirically-supported parent training approach designed
for young children with behavior problems or a history of family disruptions. |

Susan R. Schmidt, PhD – a psychologist, is an Assistant
Professor at the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect. Her clinical and research
interests include interventions for trauma-exposed children, treatment
outcome and program effectiveness, and treatment of adolescents with inappropriate
or illegal sexual behavior. She currently directs the Child Trauma Services
Program, an assessment, treatment, and research program for children exposed
to domestic violence and their non-offending caregivers.
